(Interruptions and Accidents) Germany to Tanganyika, HAMBURG TO MOSHI, carried by DLH to Berlin bs 16/6 and Athens bs 16/6. where it transferred to the Imperial Airways AS120 Africa service, thereby avoiding the 2 day delay of this service at Brindisi (see Wingent p43). It arrived in Moshi bs 22/5 only one day late because the AS120  'Satyrus' caught up one day by omitting the usual overnight stay in Athens. Printed commercial cover datestamped Bombay 12/11, backstamped Cairo 16/11 and Dar es Salaam 21/11.The AS194 Brindisi-Cairo section was scheduled to be flown in one day, but after Sylvanus arrived at Athens her departure was delayed by headwinds until next morning.
