Description: DOUBLE FIRST FLIGHT, carried all the way by FLYING BOAT 'CORSAIR' from Durban to Southampton, bs Reading 13/7, FIRST MAIL from S. AFRICA UNDER E.M.A.S, and the first service to carry mail from the WILSON AIRWAYS FIRST HIGHLANDS FEEDER SERVICE, franked 1 1/2d, large black flying boat cachet, Signed retrospectively by Capt E.S.Alcock, the commander of flying boat 'Courtier' on IAW Africa northbound service DN1 which had carried the last surcharge mail from S.Africa and had also collected the mal from Wilson AW first Nairobi-Kisumu Shuttle Service en route. ONLY 12 FLOWN. Also newspaper cutting showing head and shoulders picture of Capt. Alcock. A super flying boat cover with lots of history and in fine condition.
