Description: Belgian Congo, four original B&W photographs,17x23cm, taken during the second regular flight from Brussels, 8th March 1935. One shows the Fokker F.VII 'Leopold Rodger' on the tarmac shortly before departure at Haren Airport Brussels; another of the plane being refuelled at a barren spot at Niamey in French West Africa; another taken at Reggan in Southern Algeria, the last stop before the flight was over the worst section of the Sahara, and another being refuelled from petrol drums at Coquilhatville in the Belgian Congo.
