Description: British European Airways aircraft insignia. An original B&W photo card showing a Viking airliner in flight carrying the 'key' insignia, and a B&W photograph of another BEA Viking carrying the three crown heraldic emblem. Both are neatly displayed on a single sheet with explanatory text. Image aircraft Insignia. From 1946 to the end of 1948 BEA used the 'key' logo in a circle, and from the beginning of 1949 to 1950 gradually introduced the change to upper case serif fed letters and a three crown heraldic emblem.
