Description: TRIPLE interrupted commercial FLIGHT SOUTH AFRICA TO UK, JOHANNESBURG TO LONDON by Imperial Airways Africa northbound service #49 which left 11/2 and arrived London two days late on 23/2, and delivered 24/2 (Ministry chop). There were THREE delays on this flight causing the service to operate two days late. he first was at Mpika due to bad weather, low visibility and mechanical trouble; then a diversion to Mbalezi because Mbeya aerodrome unserviceable and finally an unscheduled overnight stop at Malakal (cause unknown).
