Description: Imperial Airways England-Australia "Athena" accident, etiquette airmail cover England to Sydney, Australia, franked 1/3d, charred edges, with printed form on GPO, Sydney headed notepaper, from J.S.Duncan, Deputy Director, Posts and Telegraphs, Sydney, dated 8th October "I regret that this article addressed to you was damaged when the airliner 'Athena' was destroyed by fire at Delhi, India", This latter date is incorrect (Type J), and was later corrected (Type K), Nierink and Sanford # 360929.
