Description: WWII censored airmail, Kenya to Hungary, MOLO (125 miles N. Nairobi) to BUDAPEST. Carried on the Imperial Airways Africa Kisumu North Flying Boat Service # KN132 which left 5/1 arriving Athens 7/1, then by train to Budapest, bs 9/1. Carried by CASSIOPIA to Alexandria, then by CORIO to Athens. WWII censored cover sealed Kenya censor tape franked 2/- and addressed to Countess Zichy a Hungarian noblewoman. The Kisumu service was set up to carry mail under the E.A.M.S. from East Africa and the Sudan, see Wingent p125. A cover with historical and routing interest. Has a significant closed tear from lower lh corner not affecting stamps. See scan.
