On to Johannesburg by train where it was transferred on 20/3 to the IMPERIAL AIRWAYS Africa northbound service AN222 16 for onward carriage on Artemis to Nairobi, Hanno to Alexandria and Scipio to Paris, arriving 28/3. KPM was a Dutch shipping company operating in the Netherlands East Indies, and African ports such as Durban, East London, Port Elizabeth, Mossel Bay, Cape Town, Zanzibar, Mombasa, and the Indian Ocean ports of Rיunion and Mauritius and Mahי.
