Description: Mauritius to France, CUREPIPE to PARIS, by sea to Mombasa, via Nairobi 29 January (b/s), then transferred to Imperial Airways Africa northbound service AN152 which left Nairobi 3/3 on Hanno and arriving Brindisi 9/2 on Sylvanus. February (b/s). Service AN 152 departed Cairo on 8/2 having arrived Cairo to schedule at 11.00 on 6 Feb. in the 1-1P42 Hanno. From there it should have been flown to Alexandria the following morning but instead, it was sent by train b/s Turin TPO 10/34 (reason unknown). The Short Kent flying boat Sylvanus should have departed at 11.00 the same day but instead she left at 08.30 on 8 Feb. (one day late). The reasons for the delays are shown as "miscellaneous" on the I.A. movement chart. The service arrived Croydon at 11.45 on 11 Feb. - still one day behind schedule. Ex Proud.
