After the the crash of the Hercules DH66 'City of Cairo' at Koepang, Kingsford Smith picked up the mails and delivered them to Darwin. Qantas continued to Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. CALCUTTA (13.4.31) - DARWIN (24.4.31) - SYDNEY (29.4.31). The complete route was London-Calcutta-Rangoon-Singapore-Koepang (crash)-Darwin-Brisbane-Sydney.
