Description: Wilson Airways, Dar es Salaam to Tanga, bs 22/11, airmail cover franked 35c, violet framed 'Feeder Service, bearing six signatures including three well known Wilson Airways pilots, WM Bawden, AN Francombe and A Noon, also ? CF Morris, FD Winglet and C Swynnerton the world famous tsetse fly scientist who died in a de Havilland Leopard Moth plane crash four years later on 8 June 1938. Accompanying this cover is a newspaper cutting reporting the accident and that WM Bawden, the pilot was also killed. Exlaining six signatures on an apparently routine internal air cover flown four years earlier, including those of three well known pilots and a world famous scientist who all worked in Tanganyika, will not only be an exciting challenge but one which, if successful, will likely add significant value to this unusual item.
