Description: Airmail Sudan to Burma, KHARTOUM to RANGOON, carried on IMPERIAL AIRWAYS AFRICA northbound service AN 129, which left Khartoum 28/8 on 'Hadrian', arriving Cairo bs 29/8, where transferred to IMPERIAL AIRWAYS eastbound service to Karachi IE 231, departing Cairo 29/8 on 'Satyrus', arriving Karachi 1/9 on 'Hanno', where airmail etiquette cancelled by black boxed Karachi 4 Sep 33 hs. Then surface to Rangoon bs 11/9. The first IAW through flight to Rangoon left Karachi 29/9. A nice thoughtful item to catch the judge's eye.
