(Ephemera) Lord Sempill's attempt to fly from England to Australia in 3 1/2 days, three newspaper cuttings one from Athens and the other from Karachi, also a picture of the aeroplane in which he set out from the Hanworth Aerodrome, England on 30 July 1936. Lord Sempill was a British peer and record breaking air pioneer who was later shown to have been a traitor who passed secret information to the Imperial Japanese Military before the Second World War .c120 words
