Departed Khartoum 9/5 in the AW Argosy 'City of Arundel' on the DUPLICATE service carrying CENTRAL AFRICAN mails, (not the mails from Cape Town). But it had to make a forced landing the same day near Wadi Halfa due to a dust storm. She continued to Cairo on 11/3, arriving 2 days late in Croydon. Duplication of services between Kisumu-Cairo due to large numbers of passengers, mail and freight was not unique (Uganda Herald 11/3/32).
