Carried to Port Moresby on the mail boat Macdui' which left Brisbane on 4/2, then flown by Orme Denny in a Guinea Airways  Junkers F13 to Salamau and on to Wau and Bulolo. Great routing, AAMC P56.

Carried from Cairo to Broken Hill on IAW flight ASS 199, This  service carried mail for Africa flown on Imperial Airways first return Brisbane-Singapore extension of the Eastern route. See Wingent p65. Only 463 items were flown from Australia to all points other than London, viz to the Far East, Middle East, the Med, Europe and Africa. Super routng and scarce TPO. A nice one for the exhibit.

Only 463 items were flown from Australia to all points other than London, viz to the Far East, Middle East, the Med, Europe and Africa. Thus some sections are likely to be great rarities. This item is likely to be one such.
