Picked up 10.00 by HMS Wren". She was commissioned at Hong Kong on 2 April, 1934 for service with the Eighth Destroyer Flotilla on the China Station). Walker p207 refers to Qantas's new fleet of DH-68A aircraft acquired to inaugurate the Brisbane-Singapore extension of the Australia-UK  service 'being grounded owing to an (unspecified) series of accidents' on this leg. Everything points to this cover having been involved. A RARE and unrecorded crash cover with unique provenance. A photoscan of HMS 'Wren' is included.
