CAMS FLYING BOATS were used between Marseille and Bayreuth, Farman 303 planes between Damascus and Karachi, and Fokker F VIIb planes between Karachi and Saigon. The CAMS 53 was a transport flying boat built in France in the late 1920s, operated by Aeropostale, Air Orient and Air Union. Plain cover having a red/black airmail etiquette with black cross control mark applied by the Bureau de Saigon (used until 30/6/31) testifying the franking was correct. Also a red/black 'Service Accelere' label used from 1929 to April 1936 to permit acceleration of letters between Saigon and Hanoi over, as yet, un built sections of the Transindochinese railway.
