(Mexico) Pan Am Keystone Pathfinder 1612.survey flight, Tejeria to Guatemala City, bs May 11 1929,  Cia Mexicana de Aviacion corner cover addressed to The American Consul, Guatemala City, franked 36c, postmarked Tejeira Railway Station. Signed by the pilot Basil Rowe, and inscribed "Keystone TRansport 1612". Very little mail was carried on this flight. Following a crash in 1927 the original Keystone K-47 Pathfinder (built by the Keystone Aircraft Corporation) was rebuilt and re-registered NC1612. It was then purchased by Basil Rowe to use for his pioneering air service in the West Indies, West Indian Aerial Express,and christened 'Santa Maria'. An interesting historical item.
