First day airmail cover flown St Louis to New York, bs, franked FDI 10c Lindbergh Air mail stamp (Scott C10) canc St Louis cds, also nice strike black circular "Lindbergh Celebration/St Louis. MO/June 18 1927" cachet. In addition to being a FDC it commemorates Lindbergh's presence in St Louis during the homecoming celebration in the city that contributed so much to making his trans-Atlantic flight possible. Small closed non invasive top edge nick.

This Express service did not replace the regular existing service but was a additional weekly feature. Small non invasive rear top edge tear, does not detract. Interesting.
