Italian military air transport service, World War II censored air cover, Tripoli to Genoa, correctly franked 1.0L (see Boyle p487) sealed by Italy black/white "Verificato Per Censura/GE (Genoa) censor tape, tied by boxed "Restituta alla poste/22 Giu 1942/GE" censor mark, also boxed "Prelevata per la censura/22 Giu 1942/GE" censor mark and violet Italy "(27)" in circle censor mark on front. Ala Littoria flew Tripoli-Rome until June 1940 when the Italian military air transport service took over (see Boyle p735). Minor rough opening verso, otherwise fine.
