(South Africa) WWII uncensored airmail, Johannesburg to Chicago, bs 23/5, plain cover franked 3/6d single rate,  uncommon red framed "Airmail-Lugpost/Via West Coast" directional hand stamp, sealed US EB Examiner 30886 (Miami) censor tape. Likely flown by Sabena from Johannesburg up West Coast to Leopoldville, then OAT to Miami by US FAM 22, then US internal airline to Chicago. Could be a nice example of the important role Sabena played in linking South Africa to the Western Hemisphere during WWII, see Boyle, p686. A nice one for further study.
