A collection of 15 covers displayed on nine sheets containing 13 flights on 25/11/56, 16/6/54, 1/9/54, all with appropriate cachets and air letter stamps; covers flown on 25/11/53 from London-Birmingham and return each bearing the three new values of Air Letter Stamps; and 2/5/64 covers from Land's End to Isles of Scilly, and return.  All covers and stamps are very fine. Any discolouration seen on a scan is from the protective cellophane sheet. Images.

The cover 27x12cm, franked US C21&C22, canc New York 19/4, posted New York, was carried United Airlines to San Francisco, 21/4, then China Clipper F/F FAM 14 to Hong Kong, bs 28/4, Imperial AW to Penang, where Malaya stamps affixed, canc 6/5, KLM to Amsterdam, bs 10/5, where Dutch stamps affixed, canc 15/5, Air France to Rio de Janero, bs 18/5, where Brazilian stamps affixed, canc 20/5, for the final leg by Panair/Pan Am to New York. There is no New York b/s but PAA officially attests to their arrival in NY(see below). Also bears official FAM14 F/F cachet, red boxed 'Via Panair' hs, KLM 'receiving and forwarding at Penang',  'airport' and 'By KLM' hs's. The original plan was for KLM to continue to Frankfurt for OAT to Lakehurst on the Hindenburg, but the crash prompted a last minute transfer to Air France.
